
The Annual Construction Science Expo is a component of the school-based “Navigation to Success Program”; the largest Life Skills program in Michigan. Attending students must complete 15 evidence-based Life Skills modules, pledge to be drug and violence free and engage in either a “Safe Routes”, “Drug Free Homes” or “Healthy Arts (poetry, spoken word, dramatic, drawing or painting) Community Service Exercise. Attendance at the Expo while exposing students to craft and career opportunities also qualifies them for potential Summer Employment, Co-op employment opportunities and merit-based college scholarships.
The Black Caucus Foundation of Michigan (BCFM) is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to research-driven public policy, leadership development, and community initiatives that improve quality of life for underserved and vulnerable populations across Michigan.
